For the past eight years, Cat Kevern’s presence has been synonymous with the global live events scene. Her journey leaves an impactful mark on legendary events and venues worldwide. From large-scale sporting events to vibrant live events in Costa Rica, New Zealand, and even Morocco, she's embraced her nomadic spirit, leveraging her fluency in French and Spanish to travel the world.
Recently, Cat has started a new chapter of her career, focusing her attention on her new business venture: Electric Cat Productions. Through this endeavour, the team offer B2B marketing strategy and specialise in planning and delivering exceptional events. Beyond the onsite bustle, Cat passionately strives for better opportunities for women in the industry.
She plays a key role as chair of NOWIE (The Network of Women in Events) putting on events, projects and programmes supporting the community and wider industry.
Ed has been designing light shows since 2003. He was born in London but lives in Manchester with his wife & two kids. He’s broken his nose 3 times (each time by accident). He collects records, science fiction books and enjoys playing and watching football. His great uncle was an Oompa Loompa in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. His favourite writer is Kurt Vonnegut and his favourite TV show is The Wire.

Joined a client to develop the Installations team in Europe for a subsidiary of the LMG Group in US. The aim was to build a team to take on fixed installations enquiries and raise awareness of the LMG brand in Europe through Pixl Evolution. After several months of development and delivering a series of complex LED installations for 180 The Strand the opportunity came to form an alliance with an established integrator and the team I had built moved to the new integrator and I decided to return to Octavius RE.

Freyja is a freelance Live Audio Engineer based in the UK, starting out as a uni graduate in 2012 before going freelance in 2016. During this time, she has worked in various different audio technician/engineering roles for artists such as Pearl Jam, Take That, Deftones and Mura Masa and most recently for Yungblud. In addition to this, Freyja has also worked for several large scale productions including TED, MTV EMAs & The Brit Awards, BBC Proms and Olympic & Paralympic events.
In 2020, Freyja worked alongside Native Management, their artists Nao and Mura Masa and several industry professionals and companies to co-create and deliver the 3T - Tour Tech Training course, in an effort to tackle the lack of diversity and representation in the touring industry.
Jake has been working in the industry since a very young age and fell into the industry after working with his father Shaun Pearce of Pearce Hire for many years.
Since university where he studied music and live event management, he has gone on to production manage high profile touring artists such as Fat Boy Slim, George Ezra & Stormzy as well large scale productions such as MDL Beast - Soundstorm.
He has extensive experience in both technical production and temporary event power, his most recent clients include Dua Lipa, Stormzy and FatBoySlim.

NeonBlack Creative Design Director Paul is a creative visionary, working in the architectural and events lighting industry for more than 15 years, after graduating from Cardiff University (BSC Hons, BA), and has worked with some of the biggest designers, bands, shows and construction projects in the UK and abroad and his lighting solutions can be found in iconic venues throughout the world. These venues include Sadler’s Wells Theatre (UK), Eventim (formally known as Hammersmith Apollo) (London, UK), Bastile Opera House (France), Stravinsky Hall (Switzerland) and Wembley Arena (UK), Hong Kong Academy (Hong Kong), The Stockholm Concert Hall (Stockholm, Sweden), The Royal Albert Hall (London, UK), The National Theatre (London, UK), The Savoy Theatre (London, UK), Liverpool Everyman Theatre (Liverpool, UK) and Bristol Old Vic Theatre (Bristol, UK) to name a few. While at Satore Studio, Paul's expertise to design practical, elegant and exciting lighting strategies culminated with the Madison Sq Garden Sphere in Las Vegas . Paul's vision is to have lighting at the forefront of the design process, where it can change the audience's ambiance and experience with implementing solutions that make the building itself become centre stage, a concept there for all to see at the Sphere. Currently the Global Director at Ayrton Digital lighting alongside NeonBlack, Paul splits his time between driving the focus for installation projects there, and utilising his design and creative technology experience at NeonBlack. Paul loves to collaborate and transform a clients thinking into reality, having as much fun as possible along the way. Very much a people person, Paul's favourite part of his job is the spark, that moment when working with the client and taking their story and thoughts culminates in the basis idea. After using Covid pandemic as a point in life to make some changes, Paul lost over 10 stone and has since discovered the outdoors, often found hiking in the hills of South Wales with his camera, mountain biking at one of his favourite spots, the Forest of Dean, and in the winter season, he is currently learning snowboard, often with little success…
Richard graduated from Warwick University, England with a BSc in Engineering Science. As a musician with a strong interest in music recording and production he pursued a career in sales and marketing in the professional audio business, initially selling high value and cutting-edge audio and production technology to recording and post-production studios, broadcasters and the location sound industry. During this time Richard worked closely in a product management role with engineering teams in Japan, the United States and United Kingdom and led sales, marketing and distribution activities worldwide.
Through his work building and managing the Interfacio business, Richard is continuously engaged with a wide variety of industry leading brands and manufacturers across the broadcast, music, lighting, professional and consumer audio sectors as they advance their strategic product development, marketing and global business objectives.
As the Founder and Managing Director of Neutral Human Sarah Cox stands at the forefront of the evolving technologies industries of Media and entertainment, as we see huge transformational shift in merging convergent technology with the experiential world of tomorrow. With a career spanning over two decades in the performance industries, Sarah's journey began in iconic venues such as London’s Comedy Store and Wembley Stadium. Her early fascination with event technology, particularly the rapid advancements in video for live events in the mid-noughties, set the stage for her careers trajectory.
Sarah's expertise grew along with the technology advancements of real-time media servers and graphics, leading her to head international sales divisions at industry giants like disguise and Notch. Her deep understanding of entertainment technology and emergent trends has made her a venerated figure in the field. Today, Sarah dedicates her vast knowledge to supporting technology and service companies across the diverse spectrum of media and entertainment.

A 2020 graduate of Westminster University, Sophie Beasor joined The Power of Events in 2022 after almost two years as General Manager at EMA and has since been pivotal in delivering key projects, including the Schools Engagement Programme and the Events Industry Insight App. Alongside managing these initiatives, Sophie handles the day-to-day running of the organisation, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to excellence. Her work continues to drive innovation and foster talent within the UK’s event industry.
Tim Routledge is a British lighting designer, creative designer, and lighting director who works in television, music concerts, outdoor events, award shows, and variety shows. Routledge's recent work as Lighting Designer includes the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Spice Girls Stadium Tour 2019, Stormzy's headline slot at Glastonbury Festival 2019, Beyonce Formation World Tour 2016, Sam Smith World Tour 2018, the live studio shows of the 2016/17/18/19 series of X Factor UK, solo tours and live TV concerts for musician Gary Barlow, Take That, Jeff Lynne's ELO, Royal Blood, Dave, Florence & The Machine, Rita Ora, and Steps. In 2024 Tim Routledge won a BAFTA at the British Academy Television Craft Awards for his work on the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. He also won the a Royal Television Society Award for Multi-Camera Lighting for the same project as well as the TPi Lighting Designer of the Year for the fourth time. In 2013 Routledge was a member of the team that won a Royal Television Society award for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert. In 2013 Routledge and his team were also nominated a BAFTA for the same event. Along with three other members of the lighting team, Routledge was nominated for an Emmy at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, scheduled for 22 September 2013 in Los Angeles, for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special, for their work on the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony. Routledge was nominated as Moving Light Programmer, and the three other nominees for the ceremony are Patrick Woodroffe (Lighting Designer), Adam Bassett (Lighting Director) and Al Gurdon (Director of Photography) In 2014 Routledge became an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff—the university that he originally studied at and graduated from with a degree in Technical Theatre. In 2009 Routledge won the BAFTA Wales Best Lighting Director award for his work on the Grand Slam live concert celebrating the Welsh rugby team's Six Nations victory.
Trevor is an award-winning Tour Manager with over 10 years’ experience. His past and present roster includes Stormzy, Santan Dave, TEMS, Ella Mai, Big Latto, Ayra Starr just to name a few.
Trevor manages national and international tours with artists from a range of musical genres. His role is multifaceted and entails tour logistics, budgets, production, personnel, show advancing, as well as liaising with Agents, Record Labels and Promoters such as Live Nation, AEG and S.J.M.
Trevor is the Founder and Managing Director of TML Worldwide, a Tour and Production Management company. In 2018 and 2020 Trevor won the acclaimed TPi Tour Manager of The Year at the prestigious TPi Awards. TPi celebrates and acknowledges those who have contributed to the Live Music Industry. Trevor also won the Tour Manager Of The Year at The Live Awards 2023 for Tour Management.
Trevor and his team were responsible for iconic performances such as STORMZY’s 2019 Glastonbury Headline as well as BRITs 2018 & 2020, not to mention the 2022 Sold Out ‘Heavy Is The Head’ UK Arena Tour. With repeated success, the team created another 2 special BRITs 2020 & 2022 performances with DAVE which led straight into his Sold Out W.A.A.I.T.T UK Arena Tour as well as, Europe & US/Canada Tours to then top it off with a Reading & Leeds Headline performance. Something which Trevor and his Team are proud especially to have headlined the previous year with STORMZY.

Wob Roberts became the production manager for Robbie Williams back in 1997, having spent the previous 15 years as Nik Kershaw’s guitar and keyboard tech, and defining the new role of playback tech with Depeche Mode.
For the next 17 years, Robbie spearheaded a new generation of stadium acts with Wob at the helm, culminating in the 2013 Take the Crown Tour before he moved sideways to take on the Beatle-esque audience challenges for One Direction’s final two stadium tours.
More recently, he’s been trucking round the planet with acts like Sam Smith, Evanescence and Kygo as well as taking a fairly active role in PSA and LIVE Touring group discussions about sustainability, education and BREXIT induced issues and challenges.
